Mark J. Jaklovsky, Managing Director and Managing Partner

Has lead Polar Design since its creation in 1999.  Mark fills numerous roles, including developing Polar Design's corporate strategy, product development, business development, spearheading Polar's acquisition strategy, and contributing his creativity and expertise to virtually all major client projects.  He has managed a wide range of market and project challenges since the company's inception.  Prior to his role at Polar Design, Mark advised leading Fortune 500 companies in the aerospace and telecommunications industry on business strategy and new business opportunities at the Dealy Strategy Group LLC, a Washington, D.C. based consulting firm.

Mark is a graduate of the Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and Phillips Andover Academy.

Jolana Jaklovsky, Chief Financial Officer

Manages the financial strategy of Polar Design, as well as financial planning and budgets for each of Polar Design's three international subsidiaries. Jolana co-founded IMS, Inc. with Jozef Jaklovsky in 1986 and continues to manage finances for IMS LLC, Polar Design's parent company, as well as trade and international marketing projects on behalf of IMS' clients.

Jozef Jaklovsky, Managing Partner

As President and Managing partner of IMS LLC, Polar Designs' parent company, Jozef advises Polar Design on a number of marketing issues as part of Polar's comprehensive marketing packages offered jointly with our parent company, IMS LLC. Jozef's background includes over 30 years in engineering, scientific research, and management for leading US corporations such as Alcoa and DuPont. Jozef led IMS, Inc., the predecessor of IMS LLC between 1986 and 2001, and continues to lead IMS' international trade and marketing activities.

Management

Polar Design employs four project and operations managers with two to five years' experience in all offices.  Each manager possesses technical, design and management experience, allowing them to serve as a single point of contact and manage projects holistically.

Advisors

Dimitry Chernyshov: Spearheaded early development of Polar Design's content management solution, InsightBuilder® and managed Polar Design's software development team until autumn, 2004.  Dimitry is a graduate of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

Jean Sommier, Jr. : One of the co-founders of Polar Design in 1999, Jean participated in the marketing, sales and management of the company through the spring of 2004.  Jean is a graduate of INSEAD (MBA), Brandeis University and Phillips Andover Academy.
