Description of the Position:
This is an entry level account and project management position suited for recent college graduates and professionals with up to 4 years of agency experience. Initially, you will work with the account management and production team that services our clients, providing a number of critical account management duties and learning about about interactive design and marketing in the process.
The position has the potential to lead to an account management role with more direct involvement with client projects and greater responsibility for developing the marketing and communications strategy of key clients.

Responsibilities include taking part in all aspects of client relationships as well as individual projects:
- participating in concept development and brainstorming; taking of notes and documentation of project specifications for approval by
- assisting with the drafting of project specifications
- facilitating communication between clients and the project team by documenting client needs, clarifying requirements with clients, and presenting those to the design, development and marketing staff assigned to a project

- handling ad hoc client requests and coordinating those with the project team to ensure they are completed in a timely manner
- participating in quality assurance, testing and reporting of project quality to clients and management.
- post-project customer service and support for clients that host with Polar Design or use software that we support.
- content migration for client web sites or brochures
- assist with Polar Design marketing initiatives such as writing and distribution of press releases, maintaining our web sites, facebook pages, and company twitter.
You will communicate directly with certain clients and work with a project manager as well as the sales manager on other accounts. You will also interact with individual designers and developers for maintenance and support tasks. Additional responsibilities may include business development and solutions consulting, depending on your level of familiarity and expertise with interactive technologies and sales.

Benefits and Salary Range:
Initial Training
Hours: 35 hours per week
Starting Salary: $12 - $18 / hour during 4 month trial period based on experience
Thereafter
If accepted for full time employment, total compensation ranges from $32,000 - $60,000 based on experience and performance, with the expectation of occasional overtime, as well as benefits such as performance bonuses, 10 paid vacation days per year, and employer contribution toward company-provided health insurance.

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited 4 year university program
- Marketing, customer service, web design, or account management internships; alternatively, work experience in web design, graphic design, print design, software development, search engine marketing or social media marketing.
- Some familiarity with web design technologies: Photoshop, HTML, CSS, content management solutions, e-commerce solutions
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, to find answer to questions that you don’t know
- Able to work and stay organized in a face paced environment with demanding clients and colleagues
- Professional appearance
- Permission to work in the US
